Land tax is a state tax, calculated on the total taxable value of freehold land you own in Queensland at midnight on 30 June each year. It does not apply to your main residence and you are only liable when the total taxable value of your land is:
- $350,000 or more – for companies, trustees or absentees
- $600,000 or more – for individuals
