Concessional contributions are those that are paid into a Superannuation Fund either by an employer or a member, on which a taxation deduction is available. The contributions are treated as assessable income to the fund which means the fund will pay tax on the contributions. Limits apply to the amount of deductible contributions available in a year. The following are examples of concessional contributions:
- Employer Contributions
- Member Contributions (deducted)
- Salary Sacrifice Contributions
